As a third-generation Loveland resident, I have deep roots in this wonderful community that has shaped me both personally and professionally. I graduated from Loveland High School and went on to earn my Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in various sectors, with 13 years dedicated to serving in the nonprofit world and over 10 years as a real estate agent serving the Northern Colorado area.
My commitment to this community runs deep. I’ve been married for 20 years to my wonderful wife Jill, and together, we are raising two beautiful daughters, Addy and Emmy who both attend Loveland High School. Though I was a tried and true Indian…I’m now proud of my Red Wolves. Giving back to our community has always been a priority, and I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a youth soccer coach for both of my girls, a member of Loveland Sertoma putting on the Loveland Loves Barbecue events and actively participating in church activities.
When I’m not working or giving back to the community, you can often find me outdoors enjoying my favorite activities—whether it’s hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains, fishing, hunting, or traveling to new destinations. I also enjoy the art of home brewing, vinting and experimenting on a new meal recipe. And no matter where I go, my loyal Golden Retriever, Piper, is by my side. Careful, she’s often off leash!
I’m proud of my heritage in Loveland and grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to serve my community. Home ownership is the bedrock of the American Dream, and the path to stable wealth. It’s my goal to make that a reality for everyone I work with. My goals for Loveland, and this endeavor into City Council, are:
1. To look to the future with the past in mind. Not long ago, Loveland had stability in its municipal leadership and a strong focus on services. We are going astray of that stability, and it will take some vision and grounding to get that back.
2. To promote Smart Growth. The front range has one commodity that is not replaceable. Land. Loveland has only so much space it can use to grow and make room for our children to become adults and start families. We need to develop that wisely. Loveland has made some wise investments that pay dividends to the city coffers through a variety of growth strategies. We need to continue into the future with this mindset, but need grounded leadership to move that along.
3. To face head on, the problems facing our great city. Homelessness, drugs, finances. Frankly to look across the aisle of any Loveland issue and see that your opponent is your neighbor. That neighbor may be in lockstep with you on one issue, and completely at odds on the next. Loveland has temporarily lost this concept in a quagmire of expensive lawsuits. We can get this back on track.
I look forward to every opportunity I can have to engage with you about our great city. 2025 and beyond for Loveland!
